2016–2022: Musical Research & Method Innovation

Between 2016 and 2022, David Kayy undertook a dedicated six-year research phase into the fundamentals of composition, improvisation, and musical form. This was not just artistic practice — it was music research in its truest sense.

By eliminating all external influences through his PUSH DELETE method and rebuilding his practice from the ground up, Kayy developed a new, holistic approach to music-making:

• Composing through structured intuition

• Improvising through abstract harmonic architecture

• Performing with formal and emotional clarity
